Definitely an interesting tufting experience, it was my first time. Wasn’t as easy as I thought, but the instructors were very helpful and attentive. They will come by and help you, and guide you. Be prepared to spend 3-4 hours. You can choose 30 x 30, 50 x 50 or 90 x 90 (all in cm) to do your art piece. Would be good if you can come in mind the design you want to do! Fun experience. ??

It was a good experience attending the tufting workshop at the Tufting Nuts. The art piece took about 3 hours to complete. A pair of strong and steady hands is needed to handle the tufting gun. The final product could be made into a rug or pillow, which would take about a month to be ready for collection or delivery back to Singapore. Postscript: We received the completed beautiful pillow exactly one month later in July 2024, via courier service from Johor to Singapore.

We purchased the standard package 3days before heading down, they had fixed time-slots at 199rm/pax. Do prepare a picture in your phone before heading down to avoid wasting time at the start. Once you have the picture, you will be seated down at your station and the staff will guide you in connecting your phone to the projector to trace the outlines of the photo. Once the outline is done, the staff will demonstrate how to use the equipment and the safety precautions to take. We spent 3 and a half hours to complete and it was very satisfying to see it get completed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, often coming to check in on us and advise us on how to better perfect our rugs. Collection time will be 1month later and there is an option to make a pillow at an extra 50RM per piece. There were abundant colors to choose from and unlimited number of colors to use. Overall a very fun experience and definitely recommended if you are looking for a fun activity to do!
