Our visit to Tower Bridge in London was truly one of the best experiences we had as a family during our trip. The iconic structure is not only a marvel to look at from the outside, but the inside tour adds so much depth and excitement to the visit. The high-level glass walkways gave us stunning views over the River Thames and the city, and walking across them was both thrilling and memorable—especially for the kids! One of the highlights for us was the family activity session inside the Tower Bridge Exhibition. It was a hands-on creative experience where my child and I got to make art using patterns we had seen around the bridge. We used threads and aluminum foil to recreate these patterns, and then brought them to life with color. It was such a fun and engaging way to tie in art with history, and it really kept the little ones interested and involved. We also planned our visit to coincide with the bridge opening, which added something extra special to the day. Thanks to the online schedule available on the official website, we were able to time our arrival perfectly and watch the bridge lift for a passing boat—a really unique and cool thing to witness in person! A quick tip: I highly recommend booking your tickets in advance. It helped us avoid the long queues and get straight to enjoying everything Tower Bridge has to offer. Between the amazing views, the interactive exhibits, and the well-organized family activities, it was a fantastic day out that we’ll all remember for a long time.

This is a fantastic place to visit off the beaten track and something a bit different. The walk up to the top of the hill and then up the steps is harder than actually walking up the mound. It’s well worth it once you get to the top, the views are amazing! At the fort below, there is a museum which is very interesting about the history of the mound. If you have a spare couple of hours, then I’d strongly recommend this place, especially if the weather is nice. Theres a nice bar/ cafe on the exit to chill out and recharge your batteries!

Great fun. There’s a lift for those with very young children. Kids love the Cat trail which helped them learn about the history of the bridge but above all they could stamp at every information post! The glass floor is most impressive with view over the cars , boats, river. The engine room has beautifully maintained machinery and is found at a distance from the bridge on the north bank of the Thames. ⚠️The tourist shop is positioned at the exit, as usual. Parents & grand parents be prepared ?

Enjoy tower bridge very good at a great time I sweat scared though when I looked through the glass and looked down I was trying to do because I'm not really good at height but I enjoyed the steam engines fantastic not too long where can it waiting in the queue it was disabled friendly because of the left had the stairs to get up before you get into the building that could mean improving. Had a great time plenty of history fully recommended this place to a friend from I went with a friend had a great time

A wonderful place to visit and see how the tower bridge was built, works and is kept working. The views inside are awesome and information well laid out. The audio guide is also a useful addition. Put this place on your to do list...you won't regret it.
