I really really enjoy this museum. It’s one of the most impressive artist from Japan. I can see his influence everywhere still today. So many things that I seen all these years are all started from him. Not to mention the impressive architecture with her signature aluminum facade, it reflects the surrounding lights and landscape. Small but excellent details. If you have only few museums that you want to visit. Make this one be the one that you visit!

Very interesting museum and exhibits, a lot of interactive ones too, and a great way to learn more about the style and other works of Hokusai . Great variety of items, artwork, reproductions and hands-on learning. The staff and facilities are great, they have a small shop and cafe area as well. No pictures allowed but a great experience if you're in the area, some parts are free and some you need to pay for.

The Museum and the exhibition are very cool, definitely recommended for the ones interested in Hokusai's art and story. It's pretty detailed and interactive, the only downside is that, unfortunately, the pieces of art inside the museum are all high definition replicas because they show the originals only once a month.

Is an interesting museum if you are fan of Hokusai and his kind of art. Unfortunately you can’t see it the original big wave ? but is nice to know more about him and his life and see it different pieces of art.
