191 Rong Mueang Rd, Rong Muang, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand
Wow. We happened to sat wondering where to go next as a tourist and the adventure to find this little gem was so fun. We asked a guard and a cleaner for directions and were let out the main doors (which appear locked) to by guided into the little museum. It’s a gem. You have to go. It’s free. 3 little floors full of quirky things. Our favourites were the safety posters. The kings seat is very grand. The lady & man in the museum were very helpful and kind. The souvenirs were brilliant and very reasonably priced.
Our favourite part of Bangkok. It's not massive, however it has alot. The staff are super interesting you can tell it's not just a job it's a passion. Wealth of historical artifacts on the rail history of Thailand. So very glad we came here. Even though it is not massive would come again.
The museum itself is very small, but worth the trip to also look around the main station.
This small museum inside Hua Lamphong Station is a hidden gem. It offers a sweet glimpse into Thailand’s railway history with old photos, models, and signs. The staff were kind and welcoming, and entry is free! Perfect for a short, peaceful visit. ??
