Cute bears and a museum that explains a lot about the different Malaysian cultures as well as giving actual helpful advices to tourist on where to visit while visiting Penang. On top of that it was very interesting to know the history and making of the teddy bear. I wish I came to this place first while visiting Penang as it gave a lot of good ideas on what activities to do.
As I stayed in double tree hilton, I was entitled a 50% discount for the entrance to this museum! I must say that this place is good for visitors that wants to learn more about some history of the evolution of teddy bears as well as a glimpse of some background information of how Penang has evolved over the years. Some of the displays are very cutesy and demure. Good for kids to explore with their families.
Suprisingly interesting and worth it.My daughters enjoyed the museum so much. It is very informative as well. The history of Penang was told by using these cute teddies. You can park your car at Doubletree Hilton at rm5 per entrance.ticket can purchase online.
A cool experience! Though I had a hard time finding the museum. In case anyone goes, you have to go inside the hotel front doors, in front of the reception. I just hope there will be a tour guide next time! It would be more interesting if there was someone explaining the history of Penang. It’s a very cute place with loads of miniature teddy bear figurines in pretty scenes. It’s a good place to take pictures! Below are just some of the pictures I’ve taken. There’s plenty more if you go in person. It’s a nice place to go solo. I went to Teddyville as a soloist and it was nice.
What a pleasant experience of Teddy X Penang. Fun for the whole family and filled with interesting facts that you can brag to your friends after your visit.
