As an American… this was incredible!!! We don’t have public pools open for free, there is always an admission price. There were multiple pools and areas including a “river” with rocks and “beach” with sand. There were lifeguards on duty making sure everyone was safe and limiting pool usage following the thunder/lightning.

This beautiful area offers a delightful atmosphere, especially at night when the city lights illuminate the area beautifully. ? The beach is well-maintained, providing a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. ?Lifeguards are present, ensuring safety and peace of mind for families and individuals alike. Guests exhibit good behaviour, contributing to a friendly and relaxing experience. Whether taking a leisurely walk or enjoying a swim, the South Bank Streets Beach is a must-visit, offering a unique beach experience in the heart of the city. ??

I love the Streets Beach! It’s super convenient to visit from suburbs, no matter you drive or by bus. The view is great and you can swim and relax in the beach and the lawn. And then you can walk along the river bank. So chill!

Great place to cool off. Has a beach area, water jet area and a creek area. So many things to do that the kids will love. Has plenty of toilets near by. Also has a play ground and plenty of options to eat.

Lovely part of the city for young families/students/tourists. Hire a bike or e scooter and take a trip up to the art galleries and museums and the west end ? . Also the ferries hop on hop off are easily accessible for everyone from here .
