459 Stanley St, South Brisbane QLD 4101, Australia
A small but tranquil memorial park. There's stairs or a ramp access, with a gun emplacement at the top. Several memorial plaques on the statue in the middle of the main steps. A quiet and pleasant walk adjacent to the Southbank area.
Wow! I have been here a couple of times over the years but it was a first time for my kids! I love visiting war memorials!.. its just a reminder of who thought for us and why! Reminds you to take a breathe and appreciate all that we have.. its a nice walking path surrounding the parklands too❤
Nice and quite good place to relax. The up to the top is wheelchair and pram.
Small park dedicated to World War One. Nice place for walking or cycling. It has access to a walking bridge across the Brisbane river.
Beautifully shaded park across from the Queensland Maritime museum in South Bank with lots of WW1 history.
