Great activity for your pre-teen kid My daughter was turning 8 during that trip. She just LOVED it, driving your own car without your parents. In terms of strain it is not too much demanding. The ride is fun! The staff very professionnal, not all speak English but they manage to give very clear instructions.

So fun!! For kids and adults, this is definitely an experience to enjoy in the city. Just a short walk down hill from the most beautiful temple, this is the perfect place to spend an hour (about 3 luge runs). The place is very clean and run well. Little kids can ride tandem. Fun for all!!!

The location is easy to find. Took the busan beach train to Sonjeong station and transfer a bus. We went on a weekday late afternoon and there was no crowd. Use the Visit Busan Pass and it was worth the money. You can even use it at the Lotte World Theme Park nearby. You get 2 free rides. Each ride takes about 5min down. Visit a temple nearby if you want to do something else other than the theme park.

I wasn’t expecting much but, oh boy, what fun! Perhaps I just got lucky but there weren’t many people riding the luge on the day I visited. No long queues, no wait time, just strap on a helmet (five colour coded sizes available), take a quick lesson (literally less than five minutes) and then you’ll be off and awaaaaaay! Super easy to steer, and a cinch to control your velocity, five different routes and even the ski lift was fun. If you’re planning to visit the nearby temple try not to miss this afterwards - an easy 10-15 minute walk between them. Unmissable, whatever your age (I’m 60).
