Shish Gumbad (Tomb made of Glass): Is located in the Lodhi Gardens & the place where it is located is called Village Khairpur. It is situated near to Bara Gumbad. It is perhaps the last lineage of Lodhi Dynasty & was possibly constructed between 1489 & 1517. It houses tomb of unknown family. Shish Gumbad is constructed in square shape & is a blend of Islamic and Hindu architectures. Western wall of the Gumbad was served as masjid. Ceiling of tomb is beautiful & is decorated with plaster work that contains floral designs. Tomb was originally decorated with blue enamelled tiles that shined like glass that is why it is name as Shish Gumbad. It is being maintained by NDMC & ASI.

In the peaceful Lodhi Gardens of Delhi sits the intriguing Shish Gumbad, known for its stunning architecture. Its name, meaning "glazed dome," suggests it was once adorned with beautiful decorations. Historians aren't sure exactly when it was built, but they think it was between 1489 and 1517 CE. Some say it might have been made for an important family or even for Bahlul Lodi, a ruler of Delhi. Shish Gumbad is built in a square shape, blending Islamic and Hindu styles. It has intricate designs, with special attention to the ceiling, which used to have blue tiles and Quranic verses. The tomb also has a mihrab, a special niche indicating the direction of prayer, on its western wall. Located in what was once called Khairpur village, Shish Gumbad now offers a peaceful escape for visitors amidst the busy city.

For many years, it was commonly believed that the first of the Lodhi sultans, Bahlol Lodhi, was buried in a small and rather nondescript tomb beside the dargah of Chiragh-e-Dehli. Now, because of research, it is accepted that Bahlol Lodhi was actually buried not too far from the tomb of his son Sikandar Lodhi - in what is today known as Lodhi Gardens. The building identified as the tomb of Bahlol Lodhi is more commonly known as Sheesh Gumbad. This is a tall domed building made of grey quartzite stone, its facade embellished with deep blue tilework. Originally, there would have been more extensive tilework here, but very little now remains. Inside, the mausoleum is quite unimpressive, though its ceiling is beautifully decorated with incised painted plaster.
