One of the classic destinations. The second time I visited this place, the last time was like 20 years ago. Ofc somehow it looks narrower since I grew up, but their fishes collection is still mesmerizing. There was no queue at all although it was packed with families on vacation at weekend, but everything was so smooth, no jam, no rush, everyone enjoying the place so well. And also easier to buy the tickets since it's accessible from the app, making it much simpler. Very recommend to have family holiday here, or hangout with friends!

Sea World Ancol, also known as Sea World Jakarta or Sea World Indonesia, is a marine aquarium attraction in North Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia. It is part of the Ancol Dreamland complex, and consists of a main tank, a shark tank, and various other tanks, including a turtle exhibit. The main tank is one of the largest aquariums in Southeast Asia. Despite its name, it is completely unaffiliated with the US-based SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment and their chain of theme parks in the United States.

Not quite big as I remember when I was a little. But, there are much improvement from the past. The live feeding at main aquarium was good show indeed. The place is now more comfortable, even kids love it. Thanks

Back to this mega aquarium after more than 10 years. The big fish are still stunning, especially when you see them from the tunnel. The fish feeding time is still the best attraction. Try not to miss them. Unfortunately, the aquarium is now looking tired and need major overhaul. The water tank is not as blue/clear as before. Maybe many years of operation did affect the water tank quality. Some of the exhibits also need major refresh. It still brings good entertainment and I saw a lot of kids scream in excitement- including my niece. So from that aspect, it’s still a recreation place worth visiting. Further more, if you take bundle with the Samudra ticket (dolphin and sea lion show). It’s highly recommended!

I am bringing my sons to visit. My last visit was more than 20 years ago. I now realized it's not as big as my memories had, there were only 1 main hall, 1 sub hall, different point of view. The tunner is fun :) Disregard the size, the big fish is BIG, maybe because they have grown in a place with no predators and well fed :) It's amazing to see a 3 meter arapaima. The feeding of piranha is fun to watch, they're as scary as they should be. My sons non stop screams showed that this place is amazing in their eyes:) I would highly recommend it to people with children.
