TWA Gunung Tunak, Mertak, Pujut, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara 83573, Indonesia
Absolutely fantastic.....if you have a dirt bike. The best spot (featured photo) is only accessible with an absolutely terrible road of loose rocks. Even with the dirt bike it was hard. Other sights still require quite a bit of dirt driving. 100 000 entry fee is quite steep, but it felt like I was paying to motocross so that was fine.
Unveiling a Hidden Paradise: A Breathtaking Sunset Awaits in Tunak National Park. Forget the well-trodden paths! Deep within the heart of Tunak National Park lies a hidden gem I recently stumbled upon – a viewpoint offering a sunset so spectacular, it will leave you speechless. The Off-the-Beaten-Path Challenge. Reaching this secret spot is no easy feat. The road is a rugged adventure best tackled by dirt bikes or sturdy 4WD vehicles. Be prepared for a bumpy ride, but trust me, the destination is worth the effort. A Landscape Painted in Gold. As you crest the final hill, the world opens up before you in a breathtaking display. Rolling hills stretch out towards the horizon, carpeted in lush greenery. But the true star of the show is the unmatched sunset view. As the sun dips below the horizon, the sky explodes in a kaleidoscope of colors – fiery oranges, blushing pinks, and deep purples paint the canvas above. The scene is simply mesmerizing, a testament to nature's unparalleled beauty. A Solitary Sanctuary. The remoteness of this location adds to its charm. Here, you'll likely find yourself surrounded by nothing but the serenity of nature and the breathtaking vista unfolding before you. It's the perfect place to unwind, reflect, and truly appreciate the magic of the moment. A Word of Caution: While the journey might be challenging, proper planning is key. Ensure your vehicle is up for the task, pack plenty of water and snacks, and be aware of your surroundings. Respecting the park's environment and practicing responsible tourism are also essential.
