This place is located just next to JDSPORTS. an interesting place to bring your kids for a bit extreme activity. My kids loved it. It has many levels of wall climbing here, the highest one was 15m high. Please check their schedule before you come because there will be time slots. Each one is around 2 hours (if not mistaken). The staffs were very friendly with my kids and treat them well. And dont forget to wear socks! #recommended

My kids first time trying out rock climbing. Staffs were friendly and coach were helpful. Just walk-in and bring along a pair of socks. Shoes and harness are provided. Can also buy socks here for RM4+ each. To accompany without climbing also RM4+ each.

Fun activity idea: rock climbing to do inside Aeon Tebrau City Mall. The entrance is a bit hidden but situated just beside JD Sports. Price is affordable (RM 33/adult) for 2 hours. The activities are suitable for kids and adults. Well ventilated area and have few types of fun climbing walls to try out. Staff is friendly and they will guide you before you tried out climbing by yourself. Shoutout to Amir, staff of Rocky Basecamp that guide us during our session here.

Very underrated place tucked away in a corner of AEON Mall (which makes it a little hard to find if it’s ur first time going there). Loved (and was also pretty intimidated by) the super high walls with lots of different routes. Speed wall was cool and challenging too! My favourite part of the gym was the beautifully painted high walls on the second floor with various landscapes like the solar system, a bookshelf and a helicopter with an actual rope ladder u could climb (which ended up being more challenging than the regular lanes?). Bouldering wall could have a few more easier sections though, since most of the routes are on walls sloping towards you (which require more upper body strength to climb compared to those sloping away from u). Also, it got kinda noisy at times because the staff started drilling to secure the holds on the high walls. But those r only minor issues - my partner and I had a lot of fun overall. Lockers and complementary equipment were a huge bonus too!

Could Be Better: Limited Space During Peak Hours: It can get a bit crowded on weekends or public holidays. If you want a quieter session, try visiting on a weekday. Gear Rentals: Gear is free, but for regular climbers, you’ll probably want to bring your own for better fit and comfort. Overall, Rocky Basecamp is a fun and accessible climbing spot with good facilities, chill vibes, and a solid community. Great for weekend outings, team building, or just blowing off some steam after a day of shopping. Highly recommend!
