Nguyen Hue Walking Street in District 1 is definitely one of my favorite spots in Saigon. This lively street is always bustling with people, especially in the evening when families, friends, and tourists gather to hang out. There’s always something interesting going on here – from street performances and live music to groups of dancers showing off their skills. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, making it a great place to unwind after a long day. One of the things I love is the variety of food stalls nearby. You can grab a Vietnamese snack, bubble tea, or ice cream and just stroll around. The street is lined with high-rise buildings, including the famous Bitexco Tower, which lights up beautifully at night, creating a really nice atmosphere for photos. What’s also nice is the cleanliness and the space here – it’s spacious enough that even when it’s crowded, it doesn’t feel too overwhelming. Nguyen Hue Walking Street is more than just a tourist spot; it feels like a little escape in the city where everyone can relax, have fun, and enjoy Saigon’s vibrant street life. If you’re in Saigon, it’s a must-visit!
A great place to walk and enjoy the many beautiful buildings and stores on both sides of the square. There are colorful statues on each end of the square for great photo ops. You can walk, jog, or bike ride through the long square. I went several times and in the early morning a few people feed the pigeons as others enjoy the sight. If you're hungry or thirsty there are dozens of restaurants and food stores (some open 24/7) and traffic is very easy to navigate. In the center there are bathrooms on each side. A nice place to take a stroll. The kids will enjoy the statues.
Large open pedestrian square / open space, which makes a nice break from the busy streets nearby. It’s a popular spot in the evenings with families, couples and people out for a stroll. Plenty of space to sit, people-watch or take in the city views.
There are many shopping malls, restaurants, and cafes around the park that extends from the Ho Chi Minh statue to the fountain. It is a great place to take pictures and take a walk in the evening, with colorful and pretty lights and beautiful sculptures. It is a beautiful park and square that is crowded with people when there are events or festivals.
A square where people can enjoy night view, it's near some dept store and the famous apartement Cafe, I come to see the fans project for welcoming my favorite actors from Thailand, and unexpectedly met them there ? one of the beautiful moments I'll never forget forever
