A wonderful market with everything you could ask for! Went first thing in the morning and hit up the deli area before it got busy and it was nice to look around in peace. Do yourself a favour and visit while vendors are still setting up, it’s nice to browse in peace and have your pick!

Queen Victoria Market is a great place to eat, shop, and enjoy local culture. I recommend visiting in the morning if you’re looking for fresh fruits, vegetables, and other products — that’s when everything is at its best. By around 3 PM, many stalls start to close. However, just before closing, you can find great deals, with some items selling for as little as $1 or $2. The market is vibrant all weekend — Friday, Saturday, and Sunday — but keep in mind that on Sundays, not all shops are open. Some cafés, deli stands, and other vendors may be closed, so it’s better to go earlier in the weekend if you want the full experience. There are also free tastings, clean restrooms in different areas, and a nice souvenir section. It’s a must-visit if you’re in Melbourne!

I had a great time checking out this market! I was visiting from out of town and there were so many good stalls to check out… food, Knick knacks, clothes, gems,… the list goes on and on. There was a really nice vibe coming from the vendors! I was really happy about the variety. Everyone let you pay by card, and there were lots of places to take a rest and enjoy some food!! Visit this place if you are a tourist
