Great sunset point. No tickets required. Make sure to come early to get a nice spot. It's always great to see so many random humans come together to watch something. This is a very human experience. We like to observe the beauty that's all around us all the time.

Very nice view. There are fewer people there in the morning. Around noon the crowds start to gather. You can go down to the cliffs, you need sturdy shoes. Easy way, only the way up is more difficult in the heat, but the way is not long. Parking is easy and there are lots of souvenir and food shops around.

One of Phuket’s most iconic viewpoints, famous for its breathtaking sunsets and panoramic ocean views. Located at the southernmost tip of the island and one of the most spectacular sunset spots in Thailand. The views from Promthep Cape are stunning, offering a sweeping vista of the Andaman Sea. During sunset, the sky transforms into a breathtaking mix of colours Just before reaching the viewpoint, a small shopping area offers a variety of souvenirs, including T-shirts, hats, local handicrafts, and batik fabrics. There is ample parking available, but it gets crowded around sunset. Promthep Cape is a must-visit destination in Phuket.

Great spot with a beautiful view over the sea. We came in the late afternoon, and it was already getting a bit busy, especially near the viewpoint. Didn’t stay long enough for sunset, but you can tell it would be a fantastic place to watch it. You can walk down towards the cliffs – the path isn’t too long, but it’s steep and slippery in places, so proper shoes are a good idea. Parking was straightforward, and there are plenty of small shops nearby selling food, drinks, and souvenirs.

Beautiful views from here, and amazing sunsets. Was a little cloudy when we vicited so we didn't get to see the sunset. Well worth a visit
