PFPX+MQ4, Somdet Chao Phraya 3 Alley, Somdet Chao Phraya, Khlong San, Bangkok 10600, Thailand
Very beautiful park! Feels more like a fancy garden than a park. It is very quaint sized, historical park. Old men are doing tae chi in the main entrance. There is a huge bodhi tree and a pavilion. On the other side is the statue of the Princess sitting on a bench. In the back side there are more beautiful gardens with some ruined buildings. In the center there are offices you can enter for free to read up on the Princess Mother's life story! Great park. Suan Somdet Ya, is a park in Bangkok, Thailand. Beautiful place, amazing plants ☺️ Very peaceful !
Took a steady walk from Chinatown across Chao Phraya Sky Park and through a local neighborhood to find this lovely park. No fee to stroll through well landscaped gardens, a small oasis and very peaceful. There is a small charity shop, restrooms, and a museum commemorating the Princess Mother. Lots of places to sit, relax in the shade.
