We visited this beautiful bay on our tour but had to enter via the smaller long boats which added to the experience. It is truly beautiful and the water is crystal clear with plenty of fish to swim with. It was very overcrowded the day we went but was surprisingly quite organised. It is definitely worth visiting if you are given the option on your tour.

Pi Leh Bay – Stunning, but Not Quite the Hidden Gem You’d Hope For I visited Pi Leh Bay as part of a tour, and honestly, I was blown away by the scenery. I hadn’t done much research beforehand, so stepping into this narrow bay surrounded by towering limestone cliffs on both sides was a total surprise. It’s absolutely breathtaking—one of those places where no photo can truly capture how incredible it feels in person. That said, like a lot of popular spots, it’s definitely lost some of that untouched charm. The bay was crowded with boats and tourists, and the constant hum of engines and smell of fuel kind of took away from the peaceful vibe I was hoping for. It’s a classic case of expectation vs. reality. Still, it’s a gorgeous spot—fantastic for photos, and even better just to take in with your own eyes. The natural beauty really does shine through, even with all the chaos. If you’re planning to go, just manage your expectations and be ready for the crowds. Not exactly tranquil, but still a must-see if you’re in the area.

Stunning place, but be prepared for the crowd. It's definitely worth going, but I want to give some advice before taking a tour there: most of the tours (if not all of them) include this bay (also called lagoon), what they don't include is the long tail boat that will offer you once in there. The boat costs around 500 baht per person, and they will make it sound as necessary to be able to enter the bay, but it is not. We didn't pay for the long tail boat and once all people who did pay took their boats, the catamaran also entered the bay.

Another stunning bay. We were able to snorkel within the bay and we tried to enjoy every moment we had. The water is beautiful and the way in which the cliffs rise up and surround the location make it seem as if you're tucked away within. An amazing experience.
