Entrance fee 25k/day We parked our motorcycle at the ticket office we started the hike around 1 pm: around 3 pm we were at the top. The climb alternate in steep at the beginning for 45 Mon, than soft for around 30 min and steep again. Amazing view all along the trek. We are not super fit but we like to climb on and off. If you are not fit at all I think it's still doable but maybe in 3 h or more We camped at the top (we rented all the equipment in the morning of the same door at gala outdoor) and it was amazing. Beautiful sunset and sunrise. Bring clothes, in the night gets cold

Beautiful hike with stunning views on the sea, Sembalun, Mt Rinjari. We are little bit experienced hikers and way up took us 45 minutes. Steep at the beginning but then it’s okay. Nice swing on the top. We started around 2pm and it was nice shade. Highly recommend if you dont have time to hike Mt Rinjani, you still can see beautiful views from here.

Beautiful place. 4 hours up and down. Lots of locals who seem to leave rubbish everywhere but if you can see past it it’s worth the trip. Steep uphill to start but stunning views. Relatively easy hike considering the other routes in the area (rinjani ones). Stop at the corner to pay 10k for parking and entrance fee 25k. Bring supplies nothing for sale at the top or on the way.

Easy to moderate hike (it must be quite slippery in wet weather). Beautiful views throughout. Unfortunately too much litter and trash everywhere.
