The views are absolutely spectacular! We had a terrific guide and porters. They provided jackets, tents and sleeping bags. The food was great and overall it was a magical experience. ⛺???

Very challenging hike, but well worth it! Amazing view! However, the campsite was not well maintained; there was rubbish everywhere and no public toilets. Beware of poop around the bushes.

Place where we camp for a night before going for Rinjani Summit the next morning. Great sunset view overlooking the lake and the slope of the famour letter "E" toward Rinjani Summit.

This is definitely one of the world’s great camp sites. Absolutely stunning scenery. Of course to get that stunning scenery you have to work for it. From the start it’s a fifteen hundred meter climb, most of that from pos three. The only negative is the amount of human waste here.
