A nice beach You have to pay rental for relaxing chairs in shade. You can get everything from soft drink to beer and massage. People are selling bar b que stuff while some are selling kites. This is a good 2-3km strip with various shops, bars and restaurants.

Was here last week by bus. Took less than 3 hours from Ekkamai Bus Terminal, Bangkok to Pattaya Beach. When we arrived, it's noon time and bright, so we went straight to the hotel. Only evening time, we walked to the beach which less than 350 meters from the hotel that we stayed. Nice weather with wind blowing while walking on the beach. Not many people because non-peak season, so enjoying the view of sunset.

What a beautiful beach! I loved that there was the option of renting a chair with an umbrella and also wide open beach space to just sun bathe on your own towel. I saw the most incredible sunsets over the beach my few night here. Con: lots of trash in the water and on the beach.

Great beach location right alongside the walking street district (red light). If driving by car, parking may be hard to find on a holiday and or the weekend.
