A peaceful park filled with flora and fauna, from blooming trees to moss and ducks to surprisingly parrots. Monceau really feels like a breath of fresh air, there are a lot of benches to sit at and take in the nature as well as plenty of places to set up a picnic!! We observed many activities like yoga and small play areas for kids too. Definitely worth the visit if you have the time!!

The Egyptian Pyramid in Parc Monceau: A Slice of Ancient Egypt in Haussmann's Paris Tucked inside the ultra-chic Parc Monceau, surrounded by classic Parisian façades and peacocks of the 8th arrondissement, lies… a mysterious mini Egyptian pyramid. Why? Because in the 18th century, the Duke of Chartres (Louis-Philippe d’Orléans) decided to build a park filled with exotic follies — miniatures of wonders from around the world. This was the age of le voyage imaginaire — fantasy travel for the elite. The pyramid, along with Roman columns, a Chinese pagoda, and a Corinthian colonnade, was created to stir curiosity and conversation during Parisian promenades. It’s a whimsical nod to Egyptomania, which swept through Europe after Napoleon’s Egyptian campaign. Today, it's a perfect metaphor for Paris: a city where worlds collide, and style is eternal.

Cute park with bench seating to enjoy the lake, columns and bridge. The columns were slightly smaller than I expected compared to photos. There were also ducklings swimming and walking around. Seemed like lots of locals going for a run around the park.

Lovely and nice but not my favorite. The plants around the fountain could use more upkeep but in the grand scheme of things, places like this in Paris are beautiful. I had a lovely walk and sought refuge in the shade of trees as it got uncomfortably hot.

Loved this local park. We were staying about 2 blocks away. It was a great find. We even packed a picnic and spent the afternoon like the locals. There was a lovely playground where our son played for hours. Plenty of shaded spots under trees, there is a lovely carousel and canteen too
