I am from Malaysia and I just go to batam while 2025 Chinese New Year holiday with family?? This place is just superb!!!! Very recommended. My family and I really enjoy the trip in Panbil Nature Reserve. The staff service is very nice. They will explain the animal one by one with us patiently and is one on one guide for the trip. We can directly pet and play with the animal. They have animal activity like rabbits, deer, koi and parrot. Their parrot is so much and very active to play with us like stand on our shoulder and guess which of our hand have the food. Besides, there also have activity like shuttle bus service to travel the mountain and feed animal with carrots. The staff also give us recognised the mushrooms that have toxic which need to be baked before eating. Others activity like ATV car, hiking, Hi rope walk, archery, campaign, paintball shooting team game, kayu Merah restaurant and so on that need to booking. All activity have staff for tour guide and some of the activities need to booking early for advanced. When my family go there, they don't have many tourists and no need to wait. But we didn't booking early and just walk in directly so we just play the available activity on spot. My family really enjoyed this trip, so I give 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for review. Besides, we want to give a special thanks to the parrot and birds section staff, the abang is too nice and patience to give us play with the parrot and bird??

Really nice place to heal. When you need to meet nature but don’t have much time, then this place ia a must visit. They provide a hiking, camping, and even an ATV rides in the forest. Located 30 minutes drive from the city center and accessible by grab as well.

Wonderful hidden gem in the nature reserve with a very beautiful animal sanctuary for live close-up feeding of guinea pigs, deers, parrots and lots of other beautiful birds to see. In fact said to be the best animal park in Riau! Very friendly and knowledgeable animal keepers too that will personally explain and introduce everything to you... Didn't get to visit the the trails and will do so next trip!

Such an interesting hiking experience. We booked Palawan Route, which took us about 3 hours in total to complete, with a nice swim in a river (we forgot to bring extra clothes but by the time we got back to the start, I was dry anyway) and our guide making us coffee in the break. We started at 8am and there were only 2 of us during the hike. Our guide was Lee, a soft spoken man who is passionate about survival skills. He let us try starting a fire, and taught us about some plants and insects that can be found in the forest. My bf and I definitely had fun and I recommend just going for the Palawan route. We did not think it was hard for 2 able bodied people in late 20s/early 30s. Ended at the Sambar deer sanctuary where we got to interact with the deer and feed them. I will recommend hiking at Panbil to my friends! Some tips: bring extra clothes, and if you are clumsier, wear proper hiking shoes (gore tex if possible as some parts are wet). No flip flops or sandals!

Went on a guided nature walk into the forest for about 2 hours. Easy walk except for the initial steep slope at the start of the journey. Tour guide Andeka was such a fun, active, knowledgeable and caring guide.
