Langkawi Skybridge opens at 9:30am. This morning, we arrived at 9am and started checking out the Oriental Village, which is actually a little enclave of souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes and photo spots. We particularly liked the cable car photo spot that framed the top of the Sky Cab. There’s also a couple of instagrammable bridges here. So coming early would be a good idea to take photos while the weather is still cool and there aren’t many people around... Yesterday, my wife and I visited the Oriental Village in Langkawi, and it was an unforgettable experience! We rented a scooter for a couple of days, and the ride itself was absolute cinema! The road to the village felt like paradise, surrounded by lush greenery and even monkeys chilling by the roadside. We stopped halfway to soak in the indescribable scenery—it was magical. At the Oriental Village, we booked the full admission to try all the activities, especially the cable car ride, Eagle Nest at 2000ft, and the Sky Bridge at 3000ft. Unfortunately, due to bad weather (strong winds and rainfall), the nest and the Sky Bridge were closed. However, we did get to enjoy the cable car ride, which was amazing despite going through the clouds and missing out on the views from above. Riding through the mist felt surreal and added to the thrill. We also tried the 6D Cinema, Sky Rex, and Sky Dome, but to be honest, these were quite disappointing. They feel outdated and don’t add much value to the experience. I’d highly recommend visitors to focus on the cable car ride instead and save their money for other activities. Overall, it was a fantastic trip, and despite the weather and some underwhelming attractions, the Oriental Village remains a must-visit spot in Langkawi. Just riding up and experiencing the cable car is worth it alone!

If u wishes to go cable car do visit PET LAND , kids will have wonderful experience with animals as they are allowed to touch and feed too. Employe there stays with u tell about each animal with so much patience with kids.

We took the Sky Cable ride here, not realizing that there was so much more to explore! The Oriental Village took me by surprise—it was vast, unique, and had an entirely different vibe altogether. We only had half a day to spend, but if I had known about this place earlier, I would have dedicated a full day just to exploring the Oriental Village. While the Sky Cable Bridge is the most well-known attraction, this place has so much more to offer. We visited the 3D Art Museum and Petland Zoo, but due to time constraints, we couldn’t complete our list. There’s also the SkyDome and several other activities we didn’t get to experience. Beyond the activities, the village itself is incredibly clean, well-organized, and beautifully painted with vibrant colors. It’s peaceful and gives you the feeling of being transported to another world. A little tip—carry a hat or an umbrella and stay hydrated, as it gets extremely hot during the day. Would definitely recommend visiting!
