We had a fantastic visit to the Old Treasury Building Museum in Melbourne!

The exhibits provided a fascinating insight into the city’s early history, from its founding to the development of the Yarra River over the years.

The new exhibition, Objects and Family Life, was particularly enjoyable, with some familiar items that sparked great memories.

The original fittings and furnishings in the building are absolutely stunning, showcasing incredible craftsmanship from a bygone era. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to assist, which made the experience even better.

Highly recommended for anyone interested in Melbourne’s rich history and heritage!

A hidden gem, this museum boasts some serious history. Visited here in October and learned a lot about Melbourne's rich history, like about the living conditions, gold rush, and seeing photos comparing the streets of now and then. I'd definitely recommend coming here if you have some spare time on your hands. This isn't a very big building, but it's big in educational value.
