A very nice place to hang out with family. Suitable for elderly as well. Went with a wheelchair elderly. Most terrain are friendly, except for certain stretches and attractions, the road is too slopey to push the wheelchair. Plenty of place to stop to rest. But not enough eateries in the zoo. Only one near aquarium and another at the panda area. Bring plenty of shades, hats and umbrella, and water to keep hydrated.

had a wonderful time visiting Zoo Negara in Malaysia with my cousins and nephew. The zoo is spacious and well-kept, with a wide variety of animals, including the famous giant pandas. We especially enjoyed walking through the open exhibits and watching the animals in natural-like habitats. It was both fun and educational, making it a great day out for the whole family!

Good zoo with variety of animals and a very large premise. The entries zoo takes around 2 - 3 hours to roam around fully. Unfortunately one of the main exhibits was not available - the Pandas. They had been sent to China While the zoo has a lot of animals the general upkeep of the zoo could be better to make it on par with other international Std zoos

Very family friendly. Good and decent place to bring kids. I bought my 7 year old daughter a notebook and stickers, and she was so happy. From the pictures, bear in mind there's no panda, fox, etc. as written on her notebook. Tired kid after spending 5 long but fun hours at the zoo. Will visit again when kids are older so they can appreciate different things. For now, our most fun activity at the zoo includes finding the reptiles in each habitat enclosure.
