The National War Memorial in New Delhi is a really impressive homage to India's courageous troops. The magnificently crafted memorial, with its perpetual flame and etched names of dead warriors, elicits profound reverence and patriotism. The environment is peaceful, making it ideal for introspection and thankfulness. The well-kept gardens and educational displays enhance the experience. A must-see for anybody who want to honour India's military services and comprehend their sacrifices. Highly recommended!

War memorial is a must-visit landmark in Delhi, standing tall as a tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The structure is majestic, and the atmosphere is both peaceful and patriotic. The best time to visit is in the evening when the monument is beautifully lit, and the surrounding area comes alive with a vibrant yet serene ambiance. The Amar Jawan Jyoti (eternal flame) adds a deeply emotional touch, reminding visitors of the valor and sacrifice of Indian soldiers. There are ample open spaces around for a leisurely walk, and the well-maintained gardens make it a great spot for families and tourists. However, weekends can get quite crowded, so an early morning or late evening visit is ideal for a more peaceful experience.

The National War Memorial is more than just a place — it's a tribute to the brave souls of the Indian Armed Forces who dedicate their lives to protecting us. The memorial beautifully showcases their courage and sacrifice, and the presence of the eternal flame, which was earlier at India Gate, adds a powerful touch of reverence. The entire place is well-maintained, calm, and deeply moving. Standing there, surrounded by stories of heroism, I couldn’t help but feel a strong sense of patriotism. A visit here isn’t just about sightseeing — it’s about remembering and respecting those who gave everything for our country.

"The National War Memorial, located in the heart of New Delhi, is a poignant tribute to India's brave soldiers who have laid down their lives in the line of duty. As I walked through the memorial, I was struck by the sense of patriotism and sacrifice that permeates every aspect of this magnificent structure. The memorial's design is sleek and modern, with a series of concentric circles that represent the different branches of the Indian Armed Forces. The walls of the memorial are inscribed with the names of over 26,000 soldiers who have died in combat since India's independence, a sobering reminder of the ultimate sacrifice that these brave men and women have made. What I loved most about the National War Memorial was the sense of reverence and respect that it inspires. The memorial is a place of quiet contemplation, where visitors can come to pay their respects to India's fallen heroes. The memorial's design and layout are carefully crafted to create a sense of calm and serenity, making it the perfect place to reflect on the sacrifices made by India's soldiers. Overall, the National War Memorial is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in India's military history. It's a poignant and thought-provoking tribute to the brave men and women who have defended India's borders, and a reminder of the ultimate sacrifice that they have made." 5/5 stars.

It was a great experience visiting it — especially around 6 PM on a weekend. Try to catch the retreat or the guard-changing ceremony (every Sunday). And always go when you have time. Don’t rush it.
