Visiting the National Rail Museum in Delhi with my family was an amazing experience! The museum beautifully showcases the rich history of Indian Railways with its impressive collection of vintage locomotives, carriages, and informative exhibits. The highlight of our visit was definitely the joy ride — it was so much fun for both kids and adults! Riding on the toy train around the museum grounds gave us a wonderful view of the entire place and added a special charm to the visit. I highly recommend the joy ride to everyone — it's a must-try! The staff was friendly, the place was well-maintained, and there were plenty of interactive activities for children. Overall, a fantastic day out for the whole family!

The National Rail museum is a very fascinating place to visit with kids. They get to learn about the rich history of Indian railways. The museum showcases a wide range of trains and its parts and tickets used earlier. Don’t miss the toy train ride. When we went only one ride was functional, that was a little disappointing. Lastly the food of the cafeteria was too yummy . We ordered Dhosa and we loved it

Great for history students and enthusiasts, fun for kids. Weekdays would be the best time to visit, since you can explore more as the place is less crowded. The restaurant is there along with one fast food stall.

The National Rail Museum is a great place for children they’ll really enjoy their visit. Ticket prices are lower on weekdays and higher on weekends and government holidays. Currently, only the joy train is operational, and there are limited swings or play areas for kids. The museum itself is quite interesting, with plenty to see about the history of Indian Railways how it all began and how far it has come. The canteen has a decent ambience; if you're hungry, you can try the food, but it’s just average in taste. Parking is available at a fee of Rs. 10 per hour, managed by the MCD.
