I didn't know what to expect from the Yayoi Kusama exhibition. Overall it was a fun experience and quite an expansive exhibition, starting from her early works to her current work. It was interesting to see the evolution of her creative process. I admit I wasn't a fan of her early works and prefer her current creative works. The immersive rooms were pretty amazing, however to ensure everyone got a go and didn't have to wait long, time allowed to enjoy the experience was brief. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

The National Gallery of Vic is a great gallery. I have been to multiple exhibitions including the Yayoi recent one and they’re always done well. The crowds are handled well. The Yayoi exhibition was really spaced out well and beautifully done. I’ve also went when they brought the Guggenheim to the NGV, also Ai Weiwei and Andy Warhols.. and a few more classical artists over the years. It’s always been well done.

Good place if you love artwork. Many modern and bro classic paintings, art works and sculptures will make you merry. British and European paintings hall was excellent and my favourite .There is no entry fee. Though some special shows have separate charges.

Very interesting place if it takes your fancy. Lots of historical art and pieces to modern day. Best of all it’s free entry! Just a heads up it does get extremely hot inside and be careful of bag size. Backpacks are not allowed inside however you can check them for free.

Beautiful building to wonder through and see the free exhibitions. Loved seeing the European exhibition, especially some of the greats. Lovely way to spend an afternoon and budget friendly date ideas.
