105 Namsangongwon-gil, Yongsan District, Seoul, South Korea
Nice spot with a beautiful view over Seoul! It’s better to go on a weekday to avoid the crowds. You can get there for free by bus or hiking up the hill, which is a great way to enjoy the scenery. Going up to the top of the tower is a bit pricey, but still a cool experience if you’re okay with the cost.
Visited this iconic Seoul landmark on the penultimate day of our visit to South Korea. We took a couple of buses from the Dongdaemun area to reach the base area. The elevation provides an amazing view of Seoul city. Due to hazy conditions, we did not deem it worth riding up the tower due to the limited visibility on the day of our visit. There are lots and lots of people, young and old present to enjoy the view. Great place to bring the family for a picnic. There are designated areas where visitors have tied thousands, if not tens of thousands, of small locks. Well worth about half a day visit when in Seoul.
I had so much fun. I and my cousin ride in a cable car to reach the tower. There is a 7-11 here and restaurants. A great place for relaxation. All the cities in Seoul can be viewed from here. I will go back on this place.
Beautiful city view from the top of the hill where the tower is located! Lovely to ride the cable car and watch the view when you go up and down. We didn't have a chance to go up to the top of the tower but the view is already fantastic from the tower base area!
