Actually love it, but not so many collection for painting, but you can see other collections such as masks, wayang, even weapons. Not large enough to spend for many hours, at least for me. I spend only around 40 minutes to get the tour complete. I like to enjoy the painting but bringing your kids not a very good combination. :)

Formerly As Basoeki Abdullah's House, It Is Now Known As Museum Basoeki Abdullah. The Museum Is Big, Clean, Cool And Not Crowded. The Ticket Price Is Also Very Cheap, Only Rp.2000 For Adults. The Museum Showcases Many Types Of Art. Paintings Are Very Commonly Found Around The Museum. One Of The Most Interesting Paintings There In My Opinion Are The Non-Alligned Leaders Paintings. There Are Also Other Items Such As Weapons (Some Are Toys), Wayang (Indonesian Puppet), And Basoeki's Personal Belongings. There's Also A Painting Of Queen Juliana Of The Kingdom Of The Netherlands, Which Was Painted By Basoeki Himself In Queen Juliana Painting Contest.

A Museum showcasing the work of one of the greatest painter of Indonesia. Fun Fact: The Museum is built on the original home of Mr Basuki Abdullah, which is also the place where the robbery happened (which took Mr Basuki's Life).

The museum, which was originally the residence of Mr. Basoeki Abdullah, was later donated to the state. The museum's collection consists of paintings (both replicas and originals) by Mr. Basoeki Abdullah. Visitors can request a guided tour and storytelling (free of charge) from the ticket attendant. The admission fee for the general public is Rp 5,000.
