Mount Faber Rd, Singapore
Ascending Mount Faber Park with breathtaking views, our visit was a serene escape. The lush greenery and scenic vantage points offered a tranquil respite. The cable car ride added a touch of adventure, making it a perfect outing for nature lovers seeking both relaxation and a sense of awe.
On our way to Mount Faber Peak (where we’re gonna take the cable car to Sentosa Island. We hiked through Mount Faber Park, which is one of the oldest parks in Singapore, it has many viewing spots that look out on the southern coastline and Southern Islands. If you love nature and hiking, this is the place!
Too bad when I went there I didn't have plan to review this place, therefore I only took a few pictures. Went for a walk with a friend on Saturday morning from Harbor Front MRT we walked up while chatting and catching up. It's a great place for work out, walking exercise but not too suitable for people with mobility issue because it's steep with stairs. The view is good (for urban standard), but it would good to have more vending machines along the way for drinks. Most of the tracks have shades (from the sun, not rain) which can be helpful in Singapore weather.
New Year’s Day - 1/1/2025. First walk of the year with 3 other beauties. This was our first time taking this route. We started from Seah Im hawker center, walked past a car park dedicated to motorcycles, towards the trail head (look out for directional pole). A series of stairs emerged. Relatively easy as the steps were shallow. Before long, we reached the top of Mount Faber. If you turn left, it will lead you towards Henderson Waves direction. We took about an hour to reach Hort Park. The entire journey was beautiful and relaxing.
Scenic spot with panoramic views of the city. A cable car starting point—kids loved the experience. Great stop during the city tour to relax. Family photo opportunities were abundant. Clean, breezy and well-maintained pathways. You can spend as little or as much time here as you like. Calm and refreshing stop before city bustle. Benches and shade areas were a bonus. Nice place to feel the natural side of Singapore.
