It’s my first time and it was my dream to come to Montreux jazz festival. I was expecting more jazz concert. Most of concert and music event were mainly pop , EDM , dance music and Rick etc. only at Lake house , you can see the jazz music. However, the location is very beautiful place in front of lake and inside of festival , you can enjoy many various foods from different countries Above all , those were almost free of charge to see the concert and music

Looooot of people but nice stores, fine prices to expensive ones and good varied music.

The Montreux Jazz Festival since 1967… Jazz remains an important part of the festival but not only… Today's festival lasts about two weeks and attracts an audience of more than 200,000 people. Strongly recommending buying ticket for a venue or attend free concerts while having your street food from all over the world.

One the best festival in Switzerland, line up is super as well as eclectic, many artists to chose from, established and upcoming. Many local talents, lots of new artist to discover! I’ve been there last year for Jeff Mills and Jean-Philippe Dary’s performance! One to remember!

Spent a long weekend at the jazz festival. Saw Jonny Deep, Jeff Beck, Van Morrison, and many more. We stayed at a hotel right next to the main festival theatre. When we return, we will aim to be a little bit away because of the sheer after hours volume. Also, get a hotel with air con! Highly recommend this festival.
