A small and cute village model, with tiny cottages surronded by greenery. Small details that give the cottages a realistic look. Love it.

Very cute, it’s more or less in the middle of the park and it’s for free. You cannot pass the barrier to prevent any damage, but as you can see is not precisely huge, so it’s easy to see from behind. Don’t expect the great attraction, but if you are already visiting the park, that it’s very beautiful too, you should pass by and have a look at this mini village.

Definitely worth looking at if you're in the park! It gives a great overview of what village life would've been like. I loved the attention to detail and the overall style of the signs.

Killed some time with my 4 year old nephew the other day. Lots of great little places and was fun to try and pick out the best one!

A tiny Tudor time-warp in the middle of Fitzroy Gardens! Edgar Wilson, a 77-year-old pensioner with serious hobby goals, built this adorable miniature village back in the ’40s—and somehow it ended up in Melbourne. It’s like a historic LEGO set for grown-ups. Blink and you might miss it, but definitely worth a peek. Long live tiny Tudor town!
