Great place to visit with kids Our kids loved it! We visited in the evening, and the lights on the water made everything feel magical. Plenty of space for strollers, and safe areas for children to walk around. We even grabbed some snacks nearby and had a small picnic. Clean, accessible, and perfect for a quick family outing with amazing photo op

This park is one of the most iconic landmarks in Singapore, offering a breathtaking panoramic view. From here, you can catch a glimpse of the iconic Marina Bay Sands hotel, the stunning Esplanade, and the city’s modern skyline. It’s the perfect place to take in the beauty of the city from above, all while being surrounded by nature. P.S so many people visit here so you better be ready?

Merlion Park is one of Singapore’s most iconic landmarks, and visiting it in person definitely lived up to the hype. The famous Merlion statue—half lion, half fish—stands proudly overlooking Marina Bay, constantly spouting water into the bay. It’s a classic photo spot and a must-see for any first-time visitor. I went both during the day and at night, and both times had their own charm. In the daytime, you can get a clear view of the surrounding skyline, including Marina Bay Sands and the ArtScience Museum. At night, the lights from the nearby buildings reflect beautifully on the water, and the whole area feels calm yet lively. It can get quite crowded, especially in the evening, but the atmosphere is great—lots of travelers taking photos, relaxing, and just enjoying the view. There are also benches nearby where you can sit and take in the breeze. It's a great stop to rest during a walk around Marina Bay. Although it’s a quick visit compared to some attractions, Merlion Park offers that classic “I’m in Singapore” feeling. Definitely worth a visit, even if just for a quick photo and a moment to enjoy the scenery.

It gets pretty crowded, but Merlion Park is a must-see at least once. Great views of Marina Bay and a nice spot for photos, though the statue is smaller than expected. Best for a quick stop while exploring the city.

You know, we got here around 8:16 am on a Monday morning and it was still busy. However, it starts getting really crowded after 9:30 am especially with all of those big af tour groups. It’s a beautiful area to take pictures with the famous half fish/half lion fountain and Marina Bay Sands in the background. It’s a must for anyone’s first time in Singapore. I read that it’s also very crowded at night. So, if you want to skip out on the crowds, it’s best to do it before 7 am or late at night. Bring a hat, sunglasses, and suntan lotion. They also have a good shop nearby that sells ice cream and cold drinks.
