Beautiful place to take a break in this busy location. Right next to the central market and river of life. There is an old iconic clock tower. Well arrangements for kids. Evening time is the right time to spend here, vibrance. Recommended to visit.

This is an authentic historical place where the old clock tower and this road is a KL central where all the business shop located during old days. Now it is closed for walking street and the historical buildings is in restoration and making effort to beautify the place. I would say job well done to the government for the great awesome efforts.

This Medan Pasar Clock Tower is definitely a landmark for the old town part of the Kuala Lumpur city, one of the only 2 clock towers in KL city (the other is Sultan Abdul Samad building on Merdeka Square). Although hardly come here anymore, I'm glad to see that this small square, known as Medan Pasar, is now a small park with a fountain, some plants, some swings and some benches for the people. It is a shame that there's no signage sharing the history of this clock tower.

A significant historical landmark, the Old Market Square Clock Tower stands as a reminder of Kuala Lumpur’s colonial past. Built in 1937 to commemorate King George VI’s coronation, the tower has witnessed the city's transformation over the decades. Its architecture reflects the era’s British influence, making it an interesting stop for history enthusiasts. However, the surroundings could be better maintained, as a noticeable number of homeless individuals gather in the area. Despite this, the clock tower remains an important heritage site in the city's landscape.

This famous Clock Tower situated in the middle of market square is also featured in the Marvel Studios Thunderbolt 2025 Movie. You can see the scenes comparison in my photos. The area has a place to chill, hangout and take a break from the hectic bustling city of KL.
