Named after Aisha bint Abu Bakr (RA), the mosque features beautiful architecture with domes, white and black marble interiors, and excellent facilities for worshippers. It is well-maintained, easily accessible via taxis and buses, and provides a peaceful atmosphere for prayer. During my Umrah trip, I had the blessing of visiting Masjid Ayesha (Ra), also known as Masjid al-Tan’im, located just outside Makkah. This mosque holds great significance as it is where Ayesha (Ra) performed her Umrah and is often a place of prayer for those starting their pilgrimage. The mosque is peaceful, and the moment you step inside, you feel a deep sense of serenity and closeness to Allah (SWT). It is a place where many pilgrims come to pray and make dua before entering Makkah. I felt truly blessed to be there, offering my prayers in this historic and spiritually significant site. The atmosphere at Masjid Ayesha is both calming and spiritually uplifting, and it gave me a chance to reflect deeply before continuing my journey toward the sacred Masjid al-Haram. InshaAllah, I pray that I get the opportunity to visit again and gain even more blessings.

Masjid al Ayesha also know as Masjid al Tan’eem, about 7 km (4.3 miles) north of the Masjid al-Haram, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Ayesha (RA) entered into Ihram from this location after the rasul (saw) instructed her to do so for performing Umrah after Hajj. From that day It became a Meeqat (place to assume Ihram) for those living within Makkah or staying in Makkah who want to perform an additional Umrah. Its a Large, well-maintained mosque with separate areas for men and women. It has Ablution (Wudu) areas, Changing rooms, Shops selling Ihram clothes and religious items, Parking and restrooms. Many locals and visitors come here to Pray two rakats of Ihram, Make niyyah (intention) and Recite the Talbiyah before heading back to Masjid al-Haram for Umrah. It is Easily accessible by taxi or bus from central Makkah, Organized layout and spacious for high traffic, Available 24/7, even during peak seasons and Convenient spot for multiple Umrahs during your stay.

If you are going to perform Umrah or the big Hajj, you have to start from here. Here you have to purify yourself, take a bath and change your clothes. Then you have to offer two rakat prayers and set off towards Mecca. Masjid Ayesha or Masjid Al Tanim is known as the mosque. The environment of the mosque is very beautiful. There is a huge chandelier and a small one next to it. The mosque is monitored by CCTV around the clock. People come and go here 24 hours a day.

It is the famous mikaat point for pilgrims to start their Umrah near Makkah. We perform our nawafil prayer here and observe niyat for umrah. The mosque is very beautiful. Plenty of parking and restrooms for visitors.
