300 Olympic-ro, Songpa District, Seoul, South Korea
Got the ticket as a bundle with Lotte World Adventure Theme Park which is just a top up three or four dollars. It’s about a 5-10min walk from the adventure park. The place is not crowded. The aquarium covers 2 floors. Most of the display was very clear and you can see the fishes very clearly. The only exception are the very large aquarium which was murky and difficult to get clear view.

★★★★ Incredible Aquarium Experience – A Must-Visit in Seoul! If you’re planning a trip to Seoul, don’t miss Lotte World Aquarium inside Lotte World Mall. This place is absolutely stunning — from its massive tanks and rare species to its well-designed visitor experience. What I Loved Most: Beluga Whale: A graceful white whale swimming calmly in a huge tank. Rare to see in Asia, and it’s clearly the star of the aquarium. Feeding & Talk Shows: They run daily. I saw the sea lion at 11:00, penguins at 12:00, and shark & ray feeding at 15:30. Informative and fun! Main Tank (B2F): Giant zebra sharks, bullhead sharks, rays, and schools of fish all swimming together — feels like being underwater without diving. Sea Turtle: Peaceful and beautiful, slowly gliding across the floor. Colorful Coral Creatures: Clownfish (yes, Nemo!), Harlequin shrimp, red-banded shrimp, decorator crab, and even a venomous stonefish hiding in plain sight. The Facility: Super clean, spacious, stroller-friendly, and easy to navigate. Glass tanks are crystal clear — great for photos even with a smartphone. Staff are friendly and helpful, even if most signs are in Korean.
the aquarium was in the lotte world mall area which is about a 10-15 min walk from lotte world. i went through the Uniqlo and took the elevator to one of the basement floors (you can ask staff for further clarification, i also had trouble finding the aquarium at first). overall i had an amazing experience! there was so much sea life to see and there were even otters and an adorable beluga whale :). there was also a gift shop. since the aquarium isn’t super big, you could probably spend a good hour or so here.
Very cool aquarium with lots of underwater tunnels and a giant tank that spans two floors. My favorite was the jellyfish room, but I thought the otter show was neat too.
