I had a wonderful time at Lone pine koala sanctuary! The highlight for me was seeing the koalas and kangaroos up close. The animals seemed well cared for, and the enclosures were spacious and clean. It was such a unique experience to observe these iconic animals in such a well-maintained environment. Overall, everything was great – a perfect day out for animal lovers

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary – A Must-Visit Family Spot! Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is a fantastic place for family entertainment. I’d recommend setting aside at least 3–4 hours to fully enjoy everything at a relaxed pace. The highlights, of course, are the adorable koalas and friendly kangaroos. The sanctuary offers an excellent display of Australian native animals, making it not only fun but also educational for both kids and adults. One of the best parts is the open and free spaces where you can interact with kangaroos, feed them, and take great photos. It’s a hands-on, enjoyable experience that feels more personal than a regular zoo visit. There’s a café on-site, and they also allow you to bring your own food. With plenty of picnic tables, it’s perfect for a relaxed outdoor meal with the family. It’s slightly on the expensive side, especially for larger families, but considering the unique experience and well-maintained facilities, it’s definitely worth it for a special outing. Overall, it’s a really amazing, fun-filled experience that’s highly recommended if you’re in or around Brisbane!

Amazing place to visit, allow 3+ hours. So great to see so many koalas and native Australian animals including wombats, Tasmanian devils, native birds, reptiles etc. The free range kangaroos, wallabies and emus section is excellent too. We loved the dingos and barn section/sheepdog demo and the talks were really informative and well pitched. Lots of water points and places to get food which was well priced. Slightly awkward to get to via public transport so leave time for this. Busy around lunchtime but really quietened down mid afternoon. Easier to buy tickets online but no queue to buy on gate when we visited. An incredible day and would 100% recommend!

Nice place to wonder about.if you are careless there is a bus that stops at the entrance.Upon entry you will be greeted by a very friendly staff member that will show you everything you need to know + there is free WiFi as there is a map to follow where everything is and what shows are at additional fee. Loads of Koalas that you can get to picture (NOT HOLD) there is enclosed area where you will find free Emus ,kangaroos, and wallabies that you can feed and pet. There are other indigenous animals such as Dingos, kookaburra, wombats, bats, reptiles,Tasmanian devils, parrots and more.

I went here the other week with my girlfriend and it was a nice place to spend a few hours. There was a good variety of australian animals and the showcases were interesting. The only complaint I had potentially was audio distortion during one of the shows. However, this didn't continue at any of the others throughout the day. Overall, worth the money and if you're local to the area definitely a location worthy of an annual pass.
