The promenade is just a short walk away from kwun tong’s commercial shopping area and a very refreshing contrast to the city. The views especially at sunset are very nice although the view of Hk island is partially blocked by a pier or something like that. Nevertheless the promenade is very clean and tidy, there are plenty of opportunities to sit down or exercise and overall the atmosphere is very relaxing and the views are beautiful

An urban waterfront park, it was formerly occupied by the Kwun Tong public cargo working area. About 1 kilometre in length, the waterfront boardwalk in the Promenade provides visitors with not only close-up views of the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal and the Runway Park, which are the new landmarks of East Kowloon, but also splendid night-time views of Hong Kong Island East and the panoramas of Victoria Harbour and Lei Yue Mun.

A nice place to take kids for some fun. There are playground facilities and a nice view of the cruise pier. It's also close to the new Kai Tak Sports stadium just a short bus ride away

Renovated recently in 2025. Nice day and night-time walk & jog; especially in winter and typhoon time.
