192 Rama IV Rd, Lumphini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand
The monument looks great, tho it is blocked by a lot of gates, can’t really come close to it it seems. But its right by the Lumpini park, thats a place worth visiting for a morning run, or an afternoon stroll.??
Great statue of King Rama VI standing in front of Lumphini Park and nearby Si Lom intersections. You can find this monument right after you exit Si Lom (B26) station : MRT blue line at the exit 1 right at the entrance of Lumphini Park gate This monument shows the significance of King Rama VI as the one who gave the land to open Lumphini Park as the first park in Thailand, which still opens and is maintained to this day as one of the important park in modern Thai history.
Big park. Good for walking at night
