A 3-hour boat tour at Kilim Geoforest Park was one of the most incredible experiences in Langkawi! The journey through the serene mangroves, towering limestone cliffs, and winding rivers felt like stepping into a different world. The boat ride was smooth and well-organized, with a knowledgeable guide who explained the fascinating ecosystem and wildlife. One of the highlights was watching eagles swoop down to catch fish—truly a breathtaking sight! We also explored a bat cave, where hundreds of bats hung from the ceiling, and took in the stunning rock formations that have existed for millions of years. Another memorable stop was at a floating fish farm, where we got to feed stingrays and learn about local aquaculture. The peaceful cruise through the mangroves, with their dense greenery and quiet beauty, made the experience feel even more special. This tour is perfect for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone looking to escape into Langkawi’s natural wonders. Highly recommended for a unique and unforgettable adventure!

Kilim Geoforest Park is a beautiful spot to explore, offering an amazing boat ride experience through breathtaking landscapes. We chose the basic RM 350 package, which lasted 2-2.5 hours, and it was totally worth it! The boat ride was well-coordinated and comfortable, with an informative guide. The key highlights of the tour included: ✅ Bat Cave – Home to many bats hanging from the ceiling (a fascinating sight!). ✅ Eagle Watching – Watching these majestic birds up close was an unforgettable experience. ✅ Mangrove Tour – A peaceful ride through the lush mangrove forest. ✅ Andaman Sea – Stunning views of open Sea. ✅ Crocodile Cave – No real crocodiles, just a rock formation shaped like one (so no worries!). The entire trip was peaceful and perfect for nature lovers and photographers! What I Didn't Like: ❌ Having to pay RM 2 separately for Bat Cave entry and RM 1 for a torch felt unnecessary. They should not ask for additional payments, as the cost should be covered within the boat package we purchased. Important Tip: ? If you’re a couple or a small group (3-4 people), try to find others to share the boat ride with. The boat can accommodate up to 10 people, so splitting the cost can make it much more budget-friendly. Just make sure to arrange this before inquiring at the registration desk. However, be sure to arrange this before inquiring at the registration desk, as they do not allow on-the-spot group collaborations. ?

This is an absolute must on your Lankawi adventure. This is a big park, protected by government, and a lot of fun and adventure to visit. You can see the eagles while they are grabbing some chicken from the water, a short, but exciting bat cave. Lots of bats inside, and do not worry they do not hurt you. The crocodile cave is only accessible when the tide is low, but also exciting. I was amazed how well they control the boats. Oh yea, you visit everything with motorboats. Mostly private. Make sure you book in advance online for a good price. The tour includes a stop at a fish farm/restaurant. I highly recommend you eat there. They also provide transportation to the jetty. The tour takes you out to the sea and you visit the mangroves as well. See birds, monkeys and so on. The wild life and nature is strong here. Do not forget, you are a guest here and the nature is your host. No trash allowed. I almost forgot, you can see here “archer” fish. They spit water on insects and jump out from the water to catch their prey. You can experience this with your boat captain. Just ask for it. This is a one of a lifetime experience place. Do not miss it.

This was an amazing day out and a must visit when on Langkawi. I recommend a private tour guide if possible and we also had a private boat for our family. This way we were not impacted by others timing etc. we visited the bat cave, crocodile cave, fish farm and the Kilim signage. Look to spend a good 4-5 hours here. And don’t provoke the monkeys!!!

Highly recommended! A beautiful mangrove cruise enriched by a visit to the Bat Cave, a fish farm, and eagle feeding. The 2-hour tour is absolutely enough.
