Watching the Kecak Dance at Uluwatu Temple was an unforgettable experience! The performance takes place during sunset, creating a magical atmosphere with breathtaking ocean views. The combination of traditional Balinese chanting, fire performances, and the stunning backdrop of the temple made this one of the highlights of my trip. I highly recommend buying tickets as soon as you enter the temple, as the show is extremely popular and always sells out. Experiencing this unique cultural event in such a spectacular setting was truly special. If you’re visiting Bali, this is an absolute must-see!

A must do experience in Bali is the Kecak performance with Uluwatu backdrop. This open air amphitheatre provides not just a view of the sea but also sunset views and the cliffside temple itself. The top dance troupe performs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Ticketing in advance is a must since seats run out very very quickly. Book online through Viator or any other partner platform. Recommend to be there at least thirty minutes in advance to get a nice seat. Terrific experience.

A must to watch if you’re in Uluwatu area! Very interesting and fascinating story. We really enjoyed our time. You could also watch the sunset if you go at the 6PM showtime. Make sure to cover your legs up for both men and women as this is a temple. Just be sure to come early to get good seats and of course so you don’t interrupt when the show starts because they start on time.

An unforgettable cultural experience! We watched the Kecak Dance at sunset right after completing our cycling tour around Bali — and what a perfect way to end the journey! The backdrop of the setting sun against the ocean cliffs was absolutely breathtaking. The performance was powerful and mesmerizing, with the rhythmic chants of dozens of men echoing through the open-air temple. The story of Ramayana came to life through the dancers' expressions and energy, and the fire dance at the end had the whole crowd on edge — thrilling and intense! The audience was just as excited as we were, clapping and cheering throughout. Truly a must-see show if you're in Bali. Don’t miss it!
