Very quiet park located on the Love River with a lot of alleys, few restaurants and bars, a nice children playground and some petanque fields. It's easy to find a quiet sit either under the trees or on the river side.

Peaceful well kept memorial with substantial tree filled grounds good for a walk. Be sure to read the inscription on the memorial, available in English and Mandarin as it explains the rather sad story behind the memorial.

Very nice and easy to understand history of 228. All Taiwanese should visit this monument
