One of the best Bengali Kali Bari in Delhi NCR. You may visit during Durga Puja celebration ?
Visiting Kalibari Temple in Delhi during Durga Puja is an extraordinary experience that beautifully captures the essence of this vibrant festival. Located in the heart of the city, the temple comes alive with festive decorations, elaborate pandals, and a palpable sense of devotion. As I approached the temple, I was greeted by the stunning visuals of intricately crafted idols of Goddess Durga, adorned with colorful garments and jewelry. The atmosphere was filled with the sounds of traditional music, chanting, and the rhythmic beats of dhak (drum), creating a festive vibe that is hard to describe.
The first time we visited this place, I was 10 years old, way back in 1997. 25 springs later, this place remains the same pure pilgrimage that it was - calling us back to find peace and solace in Kali Mata's feet. Visit during Durga Puja to enjoy the Bengali festival !
