I definitely recommend a visit to this park! While highly manicured, it is a welcome bit of nature in a fairly dense city area. The sculptures are interesting and whimsical. There are many flowers and fountains. I enjoyed walking among the city's inhabitants in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. The natural history museum is adjacent to the park and has a beautiful living wall along one side.
A very nice park with unique sculptures in the middle of the dense busy city. There is also a Museum of Nature History in the middle of the park Interesting attraction for the sculpture art lovers. Good for a morning walk too.
Jing’an Sculpture Park is unique among China’s parks. Its combination of sculpture layout, landscape construction, a modern-style gallery frame, terrace garden scenery, and other distinctive features creates a clean and abundant park environment. The landscaping, which includes hundreds of trees and thousands of flowers, changes to offer the highlights of each season, from spring flowers to autumn’s red and yellow leaves. For public recreation, the park also has a unique basketball court, walking trails, and other sports facilities. Visitors can also sit and rest, and appreciate international artworks from dozens of modern sculpture artists.
This is a beautiful park to rest while you come to this side of Shanghai. Many kids play around in the park and there are beautiful flowers! Very appealing for pictures.
You can chill out here , this is public park so beautiful and easy to go.
