A must visit place in Delhi.Its good to look if you are interested in knowing more about science and architecture. Well built and maintained. Tickets can be booked both online and offline. The ticket charge is INR 25 for adults. Good for photography. It was less crowded during our visit. Total time required : 1 to 2 hours. Washroom and drinking water facility available.

A good place but there is no guide to explain how the structures work. So we are left with our assumptions. We visited on the World Heritage Day so probably the entry was free. Not sure if there is any entry fee.

Jantar Mantar in Delhi is a historical observatory with a fascinating past, but the visitor experience can be a mixed bag. The ticket checking process is inconsistent—sometimes staff ask for tickets, sometimes they don’t. If you opt for online payment, there’s a chance to get a small discount, which helps ease the feeling of the ticket price being a bit steep. The site itself doesn’t offer much to explore—it’s relatively small, and you might find yourself saying "Shuru hote hi khatm ho gaya!" (It was over as soon as it started). Given how brief the visit can be, the cost might feel a bit high compared to the overall experience. On the plus side, it’s easy to reach! The nearest metro station is Rajiv Chowk, and from there, it’s just a short walk. If you're into history and architecture, it’s worth a quick visit—but manage expectations about how much time you'll actually spend there.

You will be required to buy a ticket worth Rs. 25/- to visit this place which includes photography. There are three instruments or yantras present here which were used to depict time in the early days. The details of these yantras are given in the images attached.
