Lovely. A tiny flow, but it looks like it would be amazing after some rain! There were tadpoles in the upper pool. Picnic tables under the trees were nice. Someone has, dealt, graffitied the information sign at the entrance. ?
Still not flowing, even after some rain. It’s going to need a flood to fill this creek up. I’m determined to keep coming back until I see a waterfall. It’s still a beautiful place with short walking trails, picnic tables, bbq’s and a toilet. Not far from Bunbury.
Nice little opportunistic stopover on the way to Donnybrook. You need to visit after some rains though otherwise it will not be flowing. The waterfall is near the main bridge so it is not a along walk. There are picnic tables there if you want a munch and a toilet facilities available.
After a decent few days of solid rain in the Southwest the falls were flowing and the there were a few visitors at Irongully Falls the weekend I visited. There is a drop toilet which had no toilet paper, BYO, two picnic benches, plenty of parking and no BBQ facilities. The area has historical significance as being set aside by settlers of Capel in the early 1900's as a recreational meeting place accessed by horseback ride. It is now a reservation.
