I visited Ilham Gallery just in time for the premiere of its newest exhibition, 'Boom Boom Bang,' which will run until March 2025. I was impressed even before walking through the door, thanks to the stunning modernist architecture. The exhibition is thoughtfully curated, and I left with a greater appreciation for the local art movement. While the collection focuses on Malaysian society in the 90s, its messages still resonate today. Since entry is free, everyone should definitely experience this at least once.

One floor gallery which has free entry and shows some interesting artworks from around Malaysia. Allow around 30 minutes for a visit. Something interesting to do near the MRT station Ampang Park.

I was curious when I saw this place on Google, so I came to check it out. The space is not very big, and there are artworks with different themes. If you like art, you can come and enjoy it slowly. Since I am not very good at art, it only took me 15 minutes to finish the tour. The most puzzling thing here is that the sign at the entrance is a bit confusing. And the elevator button is hidden next to it, and I looked for it for a long time before I saw it ?.

Taking up the bottom levels of ILHAM Tower, the free entry public gallery features seasonally changing national contemporary art. There is also a gift shop café. Worth a visit.
