Free museum. You can explore the grounds in your leisure time. You cannot go inside the buildings but can look in through the open doors. There is a beautiful garden too where you can take pictures.

Very nice place to visit! Not only is it a kind of outdoor museum, but it is also such a pretty place! It is like an oasis in the middle of Seoul. Wonderful to visit, learn something and take a brief rest. A bathroom is available as well.

Free to visit Heritage house overlooking Bukchon village. It was built in 1913 using black pines from the Amrok river. The house is named after the owner, a surgeon who resided here from 1944. Pleasant outdoor space surrounding the house. It feels very calm here.

If you are looking for beautiful 한옥 (Hanok : Korean Traditional House) in the heart of Seoul, then this place is worth visiting. It’s in Bukcheon Village area near Gyeongbokgung Palace. Love the architecture. The area is very nice, green and also clean. It’s free entry until 5 pm (make sure to double check when you reach the entry point). Love everything inside this area, they set it up like the real Hanok. Their public toilet is just amazing just like the traditional in modern way. Will definitely come back here wearing hanbok ??

A beautifully preserved heritage house with a spacious garden, offering a glimpse into the past of affluent families, which resided in it. Unfortunately, part of the house was temporarily closed, but visitors can usually explore its traditional interiors, including the guest room. A peaceful retreat, and entry is free.
