S Head Heritage Trail, Watsons Bay NSW 2030, Australia
Nice walk from Watsons Bay and a lovely view. Take your swimsuit and stop for a swim at Lady Bay Beach. It's stunning if you can get past the fact it's a nude beach. We went in with our swimsuits and just loved how clear the water was and sheltered the area was. It's not that busy either.
Started from the beach and small shop. We can swim, enjoy the sunshine and build the sandcastle. Next, walked along the beach with the pathway, we found the Hornsby Lighthouse? The lighthouse was protected very well. The color was bright and good for taking some nice pictures ??
Many visitors rush to Bondi Beach as their first stop in Sydney, but if you’re seeking serenity away from the crowds, Watsons Bay might just be your hidden gem. Watson bay with a stunning coastal walk with dramatic ocean cliffs on one side and calm harbor views on the other.A peaceful, laid-back vibe – the perfect escape from Bondi’s hustle. Catch a ferry from Circular Quay (around 25 minutes), and enjoy iconic views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge on the way.
We got there in the afternoon, the view of the bay and sunset was amazing. We took ferry from Circular Quay to Watsons Bay then walked via the South Head heritage trail to get to the Lighthouse. For those who love nudity swimming can go to Lady Bay Beach on the trail.
Cute little lighthouse at the entrance of Sydney harbour, looking out on the ocean. It’s an easy climb from Camp Cove or Watsons bay. The panorama at the top is just gorgeous, the city view or sunset watching is best from the cliffs in front of the Lightkeepers cottage. Last facilities at Camp cove.
